RCA graduate Savvas Alexander’s three-piece collection is all about minimalism, not just in shape but in process. Savvas has designed these three pieces – the Aero Tee, the Wing Dress and the Wrap Jacket – which have all been laser cut in London and finished by a seamstress and Savvas himself.


Manufacturing story

His collection explores reduced production and process, redefining how things are made, by using fewer seams and laser cutting which is a much faster process. Savvas wanted to create pieces that transcended trends, instead using modern techniques and androgenous shapes that feel timeless but not reductively ‘classic’.

Savvas Alexander is a designer and maker whose practice advocates a rethinking of the established systems within fashion. By designing solutions that challenge harmful over-consumption, Savvas activates agile production processes that de-centralise fashion making and thinking.
