Product story
Clara Chu’s collection of zero-waste bags and accessories uses donated and found household items that would have otherwise been destined for the bin (or, we hope, recycling). Instead, Clara’s sustainable design approach means finding innovative ways of utilising these objects.
Manufacturing story
CDs in cases become the face of a nostalgic bag; shoelaces and bungee cords are reimagined as handles; bathmats, velvet curtains and squares of carpet provide softness and texture; a toaster component unexpectedly creates structure and form. Clara has designed eight one-of-a-kind bags in four designs, using objects collected in and around London.
